Consignment Policy

1. Consignment Period & Ownership Transfer

All accepted items enter a 90-Day consignment period, beginning on the date your item is received and approved by Audae Club.

During this 90-day period: 

  • - You may request your item back at any time
  • - Return shipping is your responsibility.

Shipping to/from Audae Club: 

If your item passes the initial evaluation, Audae Club will provide you with a prepaid UPS shipping label to send the item in for final inspection.

Items must be securely packaged and shipped using the provided label. 

If your item does not pass the final inspection upon arrival, Audae Club will return it to you (at our expense).

After 90 days, full ownership automatically transfers to Audae Club. It begins the day that we have accepted it in inventory. 

Once ownership transfers, the item may no longer be requested back under any circumstances.

2. Audae Club’s Rights After Ownership Transfer

Once ownership transfers, Audae Club may:

  • - Continue renting the item
  • - Adjust pricing based on demand and performance
  • - Mark down or list as a final sale
  • - Retire the item from rentals
  • - Donate, liquidate, repurpose, or dispose of it

Audae Club may photograph, film, and market your item across all platforms.

All such visual assets remain the property of Audae Club.

We hold full discretion over cleaning methods, treatments, and repairs.

Minor repairs (threads, buttons, seams) may be done without prior approval.

For mailed-in items:

  • - Audae Club is not responsible for lost packages until physically received.
  • - Tracking + insurance is recommended.

3. Rental Earnings & Payout Schedule

Consignors earn a percentage of each completed rental based on the item’s assigned tier (A–D).

Earnings are calculated after cleaning, repairs, and platform fees.

Consignor payouts are issued on the 15th and 30th of every month for all rentals completed and returned during the prior period.

Example: A rental returned on the 5th is paid on the 15th. A rental returned on the 22nd is paid on the 30th.

Note: If a rental is returned close to the payout period, it will be paid out in the following period.

Consignors continue earning commission even after 90-day ownership transfer, as long as the item remains active in rentals.

No commission is paid on items that are final-sale, liquidated, donated, or retired.

4. Condition Requirements

Items must be:

  • - Clean and odor-free
  • - In excellent or very good condition
  • - Free of stains, holes, tears, major wear
  • - Free of missing zippers, buttons, beads, or embellishments
  • - Unaltered in ways that affect fit or rental potential

 

Audae Club reserves the right to:

  • - Decline items
  • - Downgrade a tier
  • - Require return shipping (We will pay, unless you want your dress back then you will be required to pay as long as it falls within the 90 day period.)

5. Authenticity

You affirm that:

  • - The item is authentic
  • - You legally own it
  • - All submitted details are accurate

Suspected counterfeit items may be declined or returned.

6. Aesthetic Alignment

Audae Club accepts items that match our event-wear aesthetic, prioritizing:

  • - European & Australian designers
  • - Elevated silhouettes
  • - Special-occasion wear
  • - Trend-right, high-quality construction

Fast-fashion brands (PLT, Fashion Nova, Motel Rocks, Commense, etc.) typically decline, unless a piece is uniquely elevated and on-brand.

7. Liability, Wear & Renter Damage

Audae Club handles all standard wear and maintenance.

If major renter-caused damage or loss occurs:

  • - Audae Club pursues reimbursement directly from the renter
  • - Any damage fees collected belong exclusively to Audae Club
  • - Damage fees may be used toward repairs, restoration, or full replacement
  • - Damage fees are not paid to consignors

If you request your item back during the 90-day consignment period, you acknowledge:

  • - Rental wear may be present
  • - Audae is not responsible for restoring the item to its original condition
  • - No compensation or reimbursement is provided

We will notify you only in cases of total loss or unrecoverable damage. (Notice is for transparency, not compensation.)

8. Policy Acceptance

By submitting an item to Audae Club, you confirm:

  • - You have read and agree to this Consignment Policy
  • - You accept the 90-day consignment period
  • - You agree to the 15th + 30th payout schedule
  • - You understand ownership transfers after 90 days
