Rental Return, Return & Refund Policy

At Audae Club, we are committed to providing a seamless and transparent rental experience. Please review our Rental Return, Return & Refund Policy before placing an order. By renting or purchasing from Audae Club, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Rental Returns

Return Process

All rental items must be returned using the resealable bag and prepaid return label provided.
If you use a different shipping method, notify us immediately at orders@audaeclub.com with the tracking number.

To be eligible for a store credit or refund (in qualifying cases), rental items must:

  • Be returned before the rental period ends.
  • Have the security ribbon and tags intact and untampered with.
  • Be unworn and undamaged (beyond minor wear).

All returned items are thoroughly inspected before any store credit or refund is issued.


Return Timeframe

The rental period begins the day you receive the dress and ends on your scheduled return date.
You must ship the item back on or before the final rental day.

Late Return Fee

  • A 20% late fee of the rental price is applied for each day the item is returned late.
  • If an item is not returned within 10 days, it will be marked as non-returned, and you will be billed the full recommended retail price (RRP) in addition to any rental and late fees.

Audae Club will email the bill, and charges will be processed using your card on file through Stripe.
If the card fails and payment is not made within 7 days, or or after three failed charge attempts to the card vaulted on file, your account will be escalated to a third-party debt collection agency.


Security Deposits

For select rentals, Audae Club will sometimes require a refundable security deposit.

  • The deposit amount is based on the value and risk level of the item and will be clearly displayed at checkout.
  • The deposit is authorized on your payment method at checkout.
  • It will be automatically released if the item is returned on time and in acceptable condition.
  • Depending on your bank, it may take 5–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

If a rental is returned late, damaged, or not returned at all, all or part of the deposit may be withheld to cover incidentals, as outlined in our Terms of Service.


2. Refunds & Store Credit

Refunds are only issued in rare cases, including:

  • You were sent the wrong item.
  • The item arrived with major, previously unlisted damage. 

Minor flaws are expected with secondhand garments and do not qualify for refunds.
Refunds are not issued for fit issues, style preferences, or changes of mind.

To qualify for a refund:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
  • The dress must be unworn, with the security ribbon and tags intact.
  • The item must be returned immediately before the rental period is over.

All other returns will receive a store credit only, valid for 24 months.
Postage fees are non-refundable.
If your rental is returned unworn and approved for credit, you’ll receive store credit for the rental amount minus shipping.


3. Afterpay Orders

If you paid using Afterpay:

  • You are charged at checkout.
  • If you cancel or return your order under eligible conditions, you will only receive store credit (no refunds), minus cancellation or shipping fees.
  • Store credit follows the same 48-month expiration policy.

4. Fit Issues & Unworn Returns

If your dress does not fit:

  • Notify us at orders@audaeclub.com within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Return the item unworn, with the security ribbon and tags intact.

You will receive store credit only (excluding shipping).
Refunds are not issued for fit concerns, only store credit.
We do not process exchanges once a rental has shipped due to limited inventory.

Fit Returns & Shipping Deductions

If your rental does not fit, or isn't as expected you may request a return within 24 hours of delivery, provided the dress is unworn and all original tags and the security ribbon remain attached. The rental must be dropped off with the designated carrier within the first 24 hours of receiving your order.

Eligible returns will receive a refund to the original payment method or store credit, less applicable shipping deductions.

Shipping Deductions for Eligible Returns

  • Rentals under $100: $9 shipping deduction
  • Rentals from $100 to $199: $15 shipping deduction
  • Rentals of $200 and above: $25 shipping deduction

Why is there a shipping deduction?

Audae Club incurs shipping costs both to and from the customer, including the cost of providing a prepaid return label. These shipping expenses are non-refundable and will be deducted from eligible return refunds or store credit, even when the return is due to sizing or fit.


5. Damage, Loss, or Theft

  • Audae Club provides complimentary insurance for minor damage (up to $30).
  • If repair costs exceed $30, you will be billed the difference.
  • If the item is lost, stolen, or destroyed, you are responsible for up to 100% of the secondhand sales price (SSP).

You will be notified before any charges are processed through SuperCycle.
If payment is not made, the matter will be escalated to collections.


6. Card on File & Fraud Prevention

To ensure a safe, secure, and trustworthy experience for all members of the Club:

  • A valid credit or debit card is required at checkout and securely stored on file.
  • This card will be used to cover late fees, damage, lost item charges, or unpaid balances.
  • Charges are processed through Stripe and customers will be notified via email before billing.

Failure to pay for outstanding balances within 7 Days of  issuance, or after three failed charge attempts, may result in escalation to a third-party collections agency.


7. ID Verification

For fraud prevention and security:

  • A valid government-issued photo ID may be requested at checkout to confirm your rental.
  • Your information is handled securely and used strictly for identity verification and protection against unauthorized transactions.

Orders that fail identity checks may be cancelled at our discretion to protect our inventory and customer community.


8. Route Package Protection

If you select Route Package Protection at checkout, you can file claims for:

  • Items lost, stolen, or damaged in transit.

Audae Club is not responsible for these issues if you opt out of Route coverage.
